If you went w/ the standard shure sm-57's($90-100) on everything your still running $400 + and thats w/ no overheads. Check out the Shure PG line they have 4 mic pak for $250. That will cover toms and kick, then pick up a used Audix I5 or sm57 used for $50. But you still need over heads. A pair of octavia mk-012($200) are decent for overheads. Guitar center allways has the audio referance(audio techs cheap/cheese line)3 or 4 mic kit for around $100-150 on sale(they basically have a "sale" every weekend). Or check out the CAD pro-7, 7 pc mic pak for $200. Also keep in mind, that you will need stands and cables, so check out the paks because some mics come w/ the tom mounting bracket. |
