Man_of_the_Century said:
HTL, You never responded to me... Why is that? Here it is again in case you missed it.
Because I had better things to do yesterday. HailTheLeaf said:
Really? They've invaded our country and bombed our houses? they've taken control of our government and resources? When did this happen? My electricity and water haven't been inturupted yet...I'm just taking a stab here, but maybe if our government stopped invading other countries and fucking with people, there might be fewer extermists in the Middle East who want us all dead.

So terrorism started just as we invaded Iraq? Oh, thats right, its been around for hundreds and thousands of years. What was thier justification then? Did we invade them before? Maybe it was Operation Desert Storm? Nope, we were defending a weaker country. I know, they must have been able to see in the future, knew we were going to invade them right now, and wanted to get a jump-start on it.
No, we started terrorizing other countries long before Iraq, but there's no justification for it now, nor has there ever been. I don't know what "their" justification is, whoever they are. Is your argument that because other countries are doing it, it's ok for us to? Because that's pretty sad, by that logic everyone should be able to have nuclear weapons, that would be fantastic wouldn't it? We were defending OIL in Operation Desert storm...and testing neat new chemicals out on "our troops", then denying them proper medical care when they came home, denying they were exposed to anything in the first place. What was our justification for napalming children in Vietnam?, they must've been a real threat. How about the secret wars in Columbia? I'm sure there's alot of justification there.
