Rich Horror:: Well, our drummer hides digital cameras in his bedroom and tapes himself having one night stands… and then edits the footage and turns it into a music video. Jeff, our guitar player, likes to jump head-first through shop windows and once challenged an entire hockey team to a fistfight. He ended up with a broken nose and even more stitches on his already battered head. And everytime we play a new venue I end up shitting or pissing my pants. We are all vile human beings. King Gary :: So when is your split with Dissector, and your full length coming out ??? Rich Horror:: It should be out by the end of the summer. Joe from Not Common is supposedly taking care of it, as everyone in both bands was too stupid to figure out an order form. King Gary :: Recently you played two shows in a row with Ghoul, tell us how awesome that was ??? Rich Horror:: Ghoul is definitely the coolest bunch of dudes we’ve ever played with. They threw cheese and donuts at my car and left the rental van reeking of pot. We’re hopefully playing the Goregon Massacre Fest with them next year. King Gary :: The Boston area metal scene is a lot cooler than the Philly metal scene, what is your secret ??? Rich Horror:: You must be seeing another Boston than I am. I can count the good bands on one hand. Most of the shit out here is that queer slammy death metal bullshit. I’ll trade you anyday. King Gary :: How many times have you seen Bitchslicer live ??? Rich Horror:: Twice, the last time you guys came to Massachusetts. I’ve waited for about six years, ever since someone sent me the mp3 of ‘Sodomancer’ on IRC. King Gary :: Tell us more about how that experience changed your life. Rich Horror:: Since you’ve left I can’t sleep, I can’t eat. I wish I was dead. King Gary :: Have you ever gotten a hand job while watching the scene in Hellraiser II, where the doctor gives the dude who sees maggots crawling out of his skin a straight razor ??? Rich Horror:: My sexual escapades are limited strictly to paying women to urinate and spit on me. King Gary :: Where you able to climax, or did you have to wait until the scene was over ??? Rich Horror:: No, but there was a period of time where I could only get off if Schindler’s List was on. Specifically, these scene where they’re carting around all the dead bodies and the little girl in the red dress is on the top of the heap. King Gary :: How did you get involved with Not Common Records ??? Rich Horror:: I had a pre-exisiting relationship with his cat. Also, Joe saw us play our first Boston show, and it’s been a whirlwind romance ever since. King Gary :: What all bands is Not Common currently working with ??? Rich Horror:: Aright now it’s us, Sin of Angels, Bugs & Rats, Kevorkian’s Angels, God’s Temple of Family Deliverance from Texas, Rudra from Singapore, Exactly Violent Style from Japan and the legendary Deceased. King Gary :: What upcoming releases are planned for Not Common ??? Rich Horror:: Bugs & Rats is already working on their next full-length. Kevorkian’s Angels is almost finished their new album. Sin of Angels is going to start recording their next full-length soon. This year we’re slated to release the Exactly Violent Style, It Will End In Pure Horror and aforementioned Kevorkian’s Angels full lengths, as well as a live album from Deceased. King Gary :: Remember when I asked you and Joe about doing a Bitchslicer split label release on Not Common & Worldeater Records, so what's up with that ??? Rich Horror:: I’d be all about it. I’ll just have to ask Joe when he gets back from his court date for stealing meds from the pharmacy he works at. King Gary :: What is the craziest thing you where ever arrested for ??? Rich Horror:: I’ve never been arrested. I’m far too crafty. King Gary :: What are your favorite horror movies ??? Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Bad Taste, Dead Alive, Evil Dead II, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, Hellraiser. King Gary :: Off the top of your head, how many times do you think you have seen the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre ??? Rich Horror:: This week I’ve seen it about 10 times. That’s probably more or less a weekly average. Do the math. King Gary :: How much of an influence is Romero on your bands lyrics and subject matter ??? Rich Horror:: It used to be huge. For a while we got away from it, and dealt more with hating everyone in general and junkies in particular. The newer stuff that will be on the album after the first full-length will have more zombie songs. Stuff about certain things in the original script for Day of the Dead, a tribute to Bub, and so on. King Gary :: What are your favorite metal albums ??? Anthax’s ‘Among The Living’, Megadeth’s ‘Ruse In Peace’, Slayer’s ‘Reign In Blood’, Voivod’s ‘Nothingface’, Morbid Angel’s ‘Covenant’, GWAR’s ‘Scumdogs of the Universe’, Acid Bath’s ‘When The Kite String Pops’, the list goes on and on and on. King Gary :: What is your alcohol of choice ??? Rich Horror:: Guinness, Pabst Blue Ribbon and Jack Daniels. Not necessarily in that order. King Gary :: What is your drug of choice ???
