I've always found the lyrics to be so important to this one, reading while listening makes it even better. I seriously doubt it was recorded in the woods, that was probably just a rumor to appease the gullible. I'm more partial to the rumor that they spent their recording budget on a nice new car and clothes, and recorded the record for free without caring much how it sounded. Ironic, how that neglect could produce such a timeless and important record, and it gives it that much more character. |
