SPOOKY WORLD - Seeks Zombies[views:3016][posts:30]___________________________________ [Oct 8,2006 1:52pm - BornSoVile ""] Want to work at Spooky World? Want to scare the shit out of people? I'm looking for at least 3 people to join us in the Catacombs which is the lair of Zombies. We're a little short staffed since none of the douchebags from last year returned. Our opening night was on Friday and we had more people in there than any other night last season. Last night we had about 1,500 + or so, which really isn't bad but it will get busier, I'm used to old fashioned Spooky World days of 20,000 - 40,000 a night! What is required of you? - We open at 6 but typically get at the park at about 4:30 to get in costume and makeup-last ticket sold at 10:30, park closes when all patrons leave. - High energy balls to the wall profromance. - You are expected to yell abrasively loud - IT'S QUITE COMMON TO LOSE YOUR VOICE. - Perform the full persona of a Zombie - Zombie walk, speech, banging the hell out of walls, makeup - it's incredibly easy, but the main thing is that you don't EVER break your character. NO PREVIOUS ACTING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED! All you need is a good team attitude, love of horror movies and metal gives you a severe advantage over the rest, trust me. Ladies are welcomed too! Located at the Bay Side Expo Center, accessable by the Red Line at JFK station. Pay is $50 per night. During the last two weekends we're at open at 1 in the afternoon, you can work that shift for $40 and even combine both of them with a 1 hour break for an even $90. It was fun until they got rid of the hayride, then you had to work indoors and it sucked. I can't believe the pay is still only $50/night...they should do something about that. |

Im betting that the Day of the Dead remake will have running zombies in it also.Im hoping that dont get butchered as badly as the Dawn of the Dead 2003.Also, I didnt care to much for Land of the Dead.Romero waited far to long to make that.LOTD would have been better if he made it 3-5 years after Day of the Dead.
