The remake was actually directed by Tom Savini, the guy behind the gore in Dawn and Day (he also played the head of the motorcycle gang in Dawn), and Romero had a decent amount to do with the remake. Just saying. |

I don't think it really worked though. I think most of the "classic" movies are public domain now and NOTLD definitely counts as a classic |
