Mainly what you need for speed is to play with a metronome and focus on playing everything as evenly as you can. Speed is not actually the key to shredding, it's clarity and uniformity that make you. Also, focus on minimizing your pick movement. The more efficient you are with your picking hand, the better you will be. |
