of course carina knew that, all those imdb people know each other.

first off, traffic was a friggin nightmare to get down here from NH. And then I had to park 6+ blocks towards olneyville (across from a fire station please be ok car since there were other cars and no signs there). This on top of having to go back home to get my phone and then try to rescue my cat (which carina ended up doing after I left). Any how, I'm here.

I guess anthony works here again, yah! I wonder if james is working in the back tonight. That would make tonight completely awesome. And totally 2003!

bury your dead: ok, this is what a "home-coming" is all about. It sucks that a lot of the regulars were stuck outside cause this show sold out, but the set was pure hilarity. While BYD played, people came out on stage and brake-danced, played cards dressed like santa, mooned the crowd, and more. A lot of chaos. this covered up some of the more pivitol parts of their set (like the "doodoodoo dododo") and they passed all but unnoticed with everything going on on-stage. For most of their set, crowd surfers kind of trickled over the barricade. 2 guys in front was enough. People don't get a chance to get up on the top of the crowd due to the constant hi-5 barage coming from BYD's members. During the last song, everyone in band shed their instruments and it was an acapella w/ drum accompaniment BURY YOUR FUCKING DEAD. There were some other people who got on the abandoned instruments, but I don't know who they were or if they even played anything... Mm .. Maybe the bass.
after their set was over, matt (singer) came out and shook anthony's (awesome security) hand first and then went and shook all the security's hands before shaking hands with the entire front row. doesn't get more friendly or respectful than that!

and xmikex would be there to claim they stole it from letters from the dead.

hatebreed: the sound guy was really.. Um... Stern.. When they were setting up the sound. I've never heard a sound guy swear like that.. Now, there were 4-guys in front. this was another "home coming" of sorts. They didn't interact with crowd as much as BYD, but the 1/2 beer fueled, 1/2 18yo hardcore audience still got charged up. It seemed like everything was coming over that barricade; people, people without shirts. shirts without people, trash cans, etc... Everyone who came over the barricade were welcomed with a obstical course of platforms, bars, boxes, my bigass backpack, and bouncers, Some of the same doods who goofed around on stage during BYD's set, scooted around HB's stage. the guys actual looked younger and the more fit. Wonder if they got personal trainers or just better living. They set a song from before dishonor to all the oldschool heads in the crowd. They must be in the back, sitting down drinking a beer or up back-stage cause all the people that came over where young nuschool kids, 6+ foot girls, and that one super jacked dude who caught jamey's sweatband in mid-air as he came over the barricade. Unlike the Opeth show here, the bass is kicking pretty hard so you can't hear as much. I got yelled at for being a pussy when I complained about that. granted, I'm partially blind from standing in front of a strobe light for their entire set.

3 songs are over, heck.. 6 songs are over, but I can't get out of the photopit.
anthony had to crowd surfer to get back up front. it's either that or walk around the outside of the building

after doing one of my favorite rhode island passtimes, worry about my car, I got to I and it was fine. so I tried to find that brenden took me to last week. I ended up a university heights and then on north main street thru pawtucket. I fairly certain that pawtucket is 100% built around the fact that 95 goes thru their town. that means no signs for 95 causeany left you make puts you on 95.

I bet the jacked dude that caught the sweatband went home and made sweet love to it all night. I would have helped you out, but alas Hatebreed is way too tough and scare me, so I did not attend. It is good you took pictures because you must get a tax write-off for covering a gay event.

killswitch engage: they hid in the back for a long time. Not sure what they were doing... But they were right there behind the banners. People kept yelling "we can see you." The funniest part was watching a drunken slut trying to get a backstage through another photographer... I'm pretty sure the left together. SLUTPOWER!!!! Wait, aren't mosh of KSE married? what are you going to get ho'ing yourself out to people at a KSE show? So this was also their "home-coming" and being the last day on the tour, their parents were all behind the band (adem ran back and kissed what I assume is his mom [actually I think it was joel's mom]). They had tons of stage antics par usual. yes its gay, but that's why it's funny. This was boosted by the random BYD members that hit the stage in their underwear. I hope at least some of my pictures convey the shear mass of human bodies which filled lupo's to near the breaking point. They played a ton of songs, but when the crowd started chanting "holy diver" they had them hold on to introduce all their stage crew... And then they played "last serenade" and were joined on stage with A LOT of near-nude dudes. Then end of days or what ever it is. The stage hand was carrying nude dudes off the stage, setting up for their encore. It was of course, holy diver. At that point, I acted like a good reverend and slipped through the backdoor.

killswitch isgay i just can't get into their style of music. i mean ok, i did enjoy that album called AOJB a lot. It was a really cool album, but after that they switched singers and got all commercial. kse really appeal to a lot of the young teens today. i see a lot of high school kids wearing their shirts with BLUE hair or the chains and baggy pants at the mall. they are pretty much a commercial so called metal band. i don't even consider them metal aw well.

their parents!??!?! wow, that's kind of cool in a way even though i dont like their music.
