Metal Update News - cryptopsy looses vocalist[views:6975][posts:11]______________________________________ [Nov 7,2003 10:57am - the_reverend ""] this is from an e-mail I get from http://www.metalupdate.com IRON MAIDEN vocalist Bruce Dickinson is suffering from flu and severe laryngitis and as such the band has cancelled shows in Rotterdam, The Netherlands and Wroclaw, Poland in order for Bruce to recover before resuming the tour on Monday in Helsinki, Finland CRYPTOPSY the group has parted ways with vocalist Martin Lacroix CHASTAIN the band now features new drummer Larry Howe and bassist Dave Starr both formerly of Vicious Rumours – new CD ‘In An Outrage’ will be released in early 2004 AMORPHIS drummer Jan Rechberger won’t be able to play on upcoming tour dates due to an accident in his family –Atte Sarkima (Verenpisara) will sit in VEHEMENCE keyboardist Jason Keesecker is no longer with the band - there are no plans for to replace him, although a session pianist will be used for the upcoming album ION VEIN the band has parted ways with drummer Scott Lang due to musical differences - Joe Babiak (Parallel Mind) will be filling in on drums while a replacement is sought LIVIDITY bassist Aaron Harper is no longer a member of the band as his is “missing in action” SLIPKNOT the masked marauders are currently working on the follow up to 2001's ‘Iowa’ with famed producer Rick Rubin NEW SIGNINGS Robotic Empire: Crowpath Willowtip Records: Capharnaum DVS Records: Voyager Firebox Records: The Eternal Retribute Records: Chton, Manmustdie |
