I'm sure it was all for character developement so they'd have an explanation for why he shows up later on, but it just took waaaay too long to get to the point in the first book. If you said that 2 years ago I would agree. But then I realized that that chapter is only 16 pages and I really liked it actually. But the first time I was reading the book (in 5th grade I believe) I stopped at that part cause it was so tedious. |
