Like American Hardcore, only this one seems to be about strictly the scene in NYC.

This seems cool. Most people felt nyc was pretty much brushed over in American Hardcore.

I've also heard that there's a film version of 'Banned In DC' coming out.

The more HR on screen acting psychotic and hating white people, the better.

anything that shows bad brains playing live, is fine by me.

since im too young to have seen bad brains, and only got the shaft with "soul brains"

"PLEASE READ** This is a project that was in my life for a year and a half and is not going to finish, at least not in this form or by me. I worked really hard on perfecting this trailer and wanted to put it up here for people to see.
Ray Cappo and I agreed to disagree on the direction and intent for this movie and now the project lives with Jordan Cooper at Revelation Records.
A lot of people ask about it and a lot of people contributed to this so for them I want to make this viewable. I am very proud of this piece, but this is my second and final failed attempt at making a new york city hardcore documentary.
If I can't make the hardcore equivalent of Dogtown and Z Boys as Ray and I were originally inspired to do, then it's not for me.
There's no blame and no fault, sometimes wonderful events that were not factors when we initally started working on this such as children and marriages come up that you don't plan for and I accept that. I know that you can't win them all"

Footage for a Boston HC documentary was just filmed, with a bunch of people from a bunch of bands past and present being interviewed. I think it might be being put out by TAANG!, but I'm not sure.
