convert cassette tape to mp3[views:19474][posts:83]_______________________________________ [Jan 14,2007 2:38pm - Messerschmitt ""] i have old tapes i'm trying to convert to mp3 or any type of file i can store on my pc. i'm trying anything, not knowing my ass from my hand when it comes to this shit. so this is what i have so far... my stereo looks something like this with rca jacks in the back [img] from there i have an adapter 6-Ft. Y-Adapter, 1/8" Right-Angle to Two RCA Plugs [img] that goes from the back of my stereo to the microphone jack of my laptop [img] no sound is coming from the laptop? i'm guessing this is a stupid attempt at what i'm trying to do. if anyone has a clue as to how the fuck i do what i'm trying to do, please share your thoughts :moe: |

It plugs into his USB, and has rca inputs. He just ran his stereo outputs to the souncard, and was able to convert all his tapes to MP3.
