all that remains: suprised to see that they were added to the bill last minute. tighter than the last time i saw them. played a lot of new material. the PA power went out a few times during their set leaving just amps. annoying.
devin townsend: fucking rocked. a little dissapointed with the 'earth day' vocals live. they opened up with 'seventh wave' , but also played 'storm ' truth' life' earth day' and combined two instrumentals into one for the last song. so glad i saw them finally.

symphony x: never really got into these guys, sick guitar playing and tight vocals. i left during the 4th song.
the great spaldino was in attendance which i noticed right before i left... vital remains were also there and i cut off their fingers.

i messed around with using no flash a lot if you didn't notice. pretty cool, some suprise me and came out pretty decent.

hahahha i look so terrible because i was headbangin and singin along and like right as soon as he took that pic i think was the chorus to Evolution and i was just about to sing along. damn good show...
All That Remains: missed them
Devin Townsend: kinda cool at first... then they played this song that had just the drums and bass and vocals at the beginning and it sounded gay so i left...
Symphony X: AMAZING. thats all i have to say... they played like every bad ass song they have (except in the dragon's den) and they even closed it with the 24 minute epic "The Odyssey" just... wow. their bassist makes me want to quit playing sometimes. =( awesome awesome show.

that show was great. they opened with seventh wave. excellent set. all that remains still sucks ass. i recognized spaldino from his video game character that he posted here a while back. i'm leaving for nj within the next hour. i'm tired.

I like their initial incarnation best, when they had 3 cellists, but just like Swans and Shellac, I'll dig on almost anything they release.
