| ______________________________________ [Jan 19,2007 8:57pm - the_reverend ""] it's been very stinky in here. whatever the reason, there was just a lady I didn't know on stage with christian cleaning up some mess. honorable tragedy, the: the last time I saw them, I remember them being tighter, but I had a more urgent reason to leave last time and wasn't really paying attention. They got the opening slot this time and that could be why. They have an anthem that is aok to me, like neversaynever's, live free or die. Something that I've done every day of my life. Hell, I'm living free or dying right this minute. ill be the hero: this is the band that was never enough, but changed it to showcase showdown. Looks like because there is already a boston based band with that name, they went with a new one. The music was the same and they did the same RCT cover. I'm fairly certain I've gotten the name wrong too. |

| ______________________________________ [Jan 19,2007 9:54pm - the_reverend ""] this is revenge: I'm completely surprised at the people who were allowed in and that they were on their very best behavior. this is the band I came to see. I like them a lot better than legends (except they are a hopeconspiracy "clone" instead of a AILD "clone"). Musically, like the two bands that became this band, they are very tight. This was basically the same exact set I saw 2 weeks ago. but it's completely different and something I think you are going to see more of, bands with barely any mosh parts. The crowd gets in to it and rules. Their set starts with an epic build up and then too quickly the set is over. |

I know at one point people complained about seeing them every show, but now, there's a lot more dancing. They played atleast one new song. our last night: I thought this was going to be this band. Awesome. The singer is less than 1/2 my age and he does the lows in the songs. before they started, the stage was FILLED with people crew style behind them. A lot of young kids clapping and singing along to all of their songs. Well, not the two new ones. It's amazing how trends slip downward. It's also amazing how well they pull it off. I sould have gone to see them at the dover brick house. I suck. |
