I'm possibly thinking about starting a pagan black metal band with a primary focus on Celtic mythology... think Primordial but with harsher vocals and faster songs. Nothing is set in stone yet (practice space, etc.) but I do plan on starting it sometime in the next 4 months and getting the ball rolling by summertime. I live in the south shore, but am willing to practice in the boston area. We already have another guitar player - the other abaroth player - but I will be looking for a bass player and drummer who is interested. keep in mind this isn't immediate, it's something that may start up in a few months after everyone is gathered and the direction is laid down. The possible name is "Herugrim" - King Theodin's sword in the lord of the rings. I am also currently seeking a drummer for the full length of this band.. it will be the final release and will have more more focus put into it. Thanks. |

| ______________________________ [Jul 6,2007 8:06pm - aril ""] Infernecron was originally called "infernotron" - I was reading Dante's Inferno and watching Tron on TV. It wasn't real serious. I recorded two songs in about and hour and they were pretty much a joke. Then, since I was getting bored with Abaroth, I eventually just wrote/recorded the first demo in a couple of days because of being bored of Abaroth. We decided to make it someone more serious, although I barely spent time on the music. We just wanted to release something that wasn't as "experimental" (if you call it that) as Abaroth.. Ah, the good 'ol days.. |
