movie: My Date with Drew & Man of the Year[views:6293][posts:4]____________________________________ [Feb 22,2007 10:21am - ~carina~ ""] got a few free rentals and so i rented my date with Drew..which is basically a documentary about this guy who has had a crush on drew barrymore since he was 6. he's broke but won $1100 on a game show where the asnwer was "drew barrymore" so he took the money to start his documentary to get a date with her. Anyhow, it was pretty interesting. While they were doing the movie they even put up a website to help, i just looked and it's still up: http://www.mydatewithdrew.com/ ultimately despite al lthe people they met (like Corey Feldman) it was the website that helped him make his dream come true hah Man of the Year was good. A little depressing but good. Robin Williams plays a comedian (what a stretch!) who has a political news talk show. They mention John Stewart and there are some cameos too. I liked the SNL skit best! Gotta say, my prime motivation in renting it was because Chris Walken is in it. anyone see either of these? |
