Niccolai said:
Murph has a 5000 I believe. I remember not liking it because it wasn't as responsive as I like, but I only played it briefly and dind't adjust it or anything. If I were you, I would look into maybe a janus pedal. before I sold my export, I had a janus and it was amazing. adjustable, build like a tank, and played liek butter. I've had problems with my old eliminater single, and the drummer from pull the trigger had an eliminator that was a huge pain to adjust to get an equal master/slave pedal feel. However, the current drummer from the body farm has an eliminator and he swears by it. He can't play another pedal after using his. He is black though, I know you might not want the same pedal as one of his kind moe.
I play a 9000, you queer. And to anyone that knocks this pedal, please. It has the smoothest feel and most precise adjustability of any pedal I've played. The only thing I'd get over it would be a custom-made pedal, and until I can play drums well, that ain't gonna happen. Pearl pedals aren't bad, but the cams just arent as fluid as the DW. And that goofy footplate on the pedal annoyed both my foot and eyes. DW pedals are made for drummers, period
