Melodic Metal Singer Needed (South Shore Area MA)[views:1863][posts:3]________________________________________ [Mar 6,2007 12:55am - jmichaelbriggs ""] our band is currently looking for a metal singer...someone with a good set of pipes...we need someone with a good singing voice, and if you can scream/growl/or gurgle too, then thats a plus. but i cant stress enough....we want someone with a GOOD voice.....(SCREAMS ARE NOT AS IMPORTANT BUT THEY DO HELP) Someone who can write there own material, and someone who is as serious as we are, this posiation is not only for lead singer, but also as a frontman....so please have some personality that can get crowds a movin'.... we already have a few handfulls of songs...and plenty of material to work with/from..we would like to get stuff together and start playing shows!! We have a drummer, bassist, a violin player, a keys/synth player, and 2 guitarists..were a bigg band.we all have extensive experience with music were influenced by power metal such as, Sonata Arctica, Dragonforce, Into Eternity, to basically every other style of metal...Ensiferum, Wintersun, In Flames, Killswitch Engage, Cradle Of Filth, Children Of Bodom...etc.....we play loud, fast, harmonic metal....and were always interrested in having some new creative input.....SO IF YOU CAN SING METAL, OR KNOW ANYONE THAT CAN SING METAL... then just send me a message, and we'll get it started, and start ripping the shit up. please be under 25 yrs old,have strong dedication and have reliable transportation, ..Thanks -Justin- |

Good luck, guys. For what you're seeking, maybe try looking into some musical theater types. At the age you're seeking, it's the most likely place to find people that have the training/discipline necessary for that style of singing. |
