As Light Dies is an eclectic and experimental band that mixes styles as black, doom, death metal, folk, contemporaneous music and progressive rock. "A Step Through the Reflection" is a very ambitious recording, exploring new paths in their music, turning it much more extreme and twisted, trying new sounds and atmospheres. About 70 minutes of music with influences that may remind to bands as Ved Buens Ende, Orphanage, Borknagar, Opeth, Arcturus, Cynic, Pink Floyd and Anathema.
