| _____________________________ [Mar 27,2007 4:44pm - mOe ""] thats what i realized about NJ and MA when i was going back and forth between school and home, going to shows i realized that in terms of metal/metalcore NJ was ALWAYS behind MA. Even my friends from NJ agreed. In terms of whats popular over there they're always behind. my old band would try and incorporate slams and stuff into our material and kids would just fucking STARE at us because they had no clue about what was going on. Back then, the bands sounded like daughters, AILD, or ALOL. Now, every local band "slams" regardless of whether or not their music even warrants it. I'm obviously not speaking about EVERY band, but i was going to shows at least weekly over the summer vacations. |

Those demo tracks were sloppy as fuck, but at least they had a couple of good slams in them. The vocals on this new track aren't nearly as good as the demo tracks, either. Also a lot of the breakdowns/groove in the new track is very metalcore'ish. :( |
