| _____________________________________ [Apr 6,2007 1:50pm - shamash nli ""] I have one and its a great amp. it sounds great at high volumes. not shitty and compressed like the windsor amp. i'd say it's similiar to a Laney AOR 100. I am nervous when moving it around, because it looks like knobs could snap off it if smacked into.... hence the low price, but that hasn't happened yet and its lived up to any expectations I had for a $550 head...Loud, decent tube tone, and takes pedals well. Replace the tubes with something when you get it; the tubes in it also contribute to the low cost (i use JJ's). The transformer in it isn't huge either, which some people have commented on in other sites. Great amp. |
