Bank took away my house. Whats next?[views:4486][posts:47][poll! to vote:click here] to view:click here] ______________________________________ [Apr 9,2007 11:35am - Joshtruction ""] OK, so my mother is battling cancer and is stuck in Mass General hospital in boston. She is sick and has been unable to pay the mortgage and the bank decided they have had enough. I was paying it for a bit, but I broke my knee and work under the table so there is no collecting involved. The eviction began the other day. It can take from 6 weeks to 6 months to get booted. We unfortunately had our grandparents pass away so we got another house to go to. Here is the big question. They never served eviction papers for the apartment and probably will not realize anyone is living there until this eviction is done with. At that time they will have to start all over to evict from the apartment. Now here is the poll question... Should I stay in the apartment just to be a royal pain in thier ass for them not understanding and not trying to work with a sick cancer patient, or should I just give up and go to the new place? If I do stay up there it would be cool to find a roomate so I am not bored all the time haha. |

Thanks man. I sure some things will get better over time. I enjoy a good fight. It lets me know I am still alive. The people that founded this country faught back, and now we are scared to fight back? Do we need a second american revolution or something? Some bands sit there and put a strong message of stuff like this in music but when push comes to shove they never fight back in any way. I think more people need to take a stand in things that happen in every day life that we all have learned to accept. here's a ninja turtle :tmnt4: they rule. |

Hell yeah, I hear that. That's why when I write shit for STR, I back it up by working with The Coalition for Social Justice and shit. I may not be a card-carrying fanatic about the shit, but I do what I can. Although there's not a lot that can be done, every small fight can help. Like I said though, you know the bank's going to shit on you, you can save yourself the aggravation and split, or like you said, if you're up for a fight, there's nothing wrong with sticking it to the man.
