After many nights of drunken debauchery at Sonic Pump studios, where they certainly overstayed their welcome, FINNTROLL are proud to bring you another fine example of their trademark blackened pagan folk metal. The Trolls have posted the new track, "Korpens Saga," on their official MySpace page http://myspace.com/officialfinntroll Under the guidance of producer extraordinaire Nino Laurenne, who has similarly assisted goth legends Nightwish and Amorphis, FINNTROLL have crafted their most consistent concoction of cavernous chaos yet, including a 13-minute closer. The effort is drenched in atmosphere, with guitarists Skrymer and Routa creating a maelstrom of metal mayhem amidst the pull and sway of pagan polka. The album marks a unique chapter for the band with a new vocalist who will be making his live North American debut in September. With former vocalist Wilska’s departure in 2006, the remaining members scoured their native homeland for a suitable replacement, only to stumble upon the like-minded and equally inebriated Vreth.
