Hold True Recordings is looking for members.[views:3022][posts:12]_____________________________ [Apr 23,2007 5:20pm - HTR ""] For the past 3 years Hold True Recordings has been a part time labor of love that I have done in my spare time to support the New England Metal and Hardcore scenes and bring attention to some of it's most talented and original bands and artists. Sadly, as one might guess, part time efforts have reaped part time results. So as of late I have been putting almost every spare waking moment of my life into the label and as a result: 2 albums in 3 months, expanded distro, fantastic new merch, and a horizon full of possibilities. However, with newfound success I have a newfound workload which is simply becoming too much for just myself to handle. Therefore, I am now actively seeing others who share a deep love for the aggressive music genres of New England and who enjoy promoting music that is different and creative. Ideally I would like to find individuals with some level of business experience, a strong command of the english language, and/or a fair degree of artistic talent. However, anyone who has an unwavering love for the music that we produce here in this region (and reliable transportation!) is more than welcome to get in touch with me as well. I do not know of any other record label that does what Hold True Recordings does on such an exclusive basis for New England. I am working on a small new england based label also, and we both share the same objectives. Right now things are going pretty slow for me since i have been out of work with injury's, so I have not had much funding for my label. I've been doing different things like this for years. Show booking, promoting, letting bands crash at my palce, recording etc etc. |
