ENTOMBED guitarist Uffe Cederlund has joined the Swedish crust rock outfit as the group's second touring guitarist. DISFEAR (Tomas Lindberg / vocals, Bjorn Pettersson / guitar, Markus Anderson / drums, Henrik Frykman / bass and Uffe Cederlund / guitar) will kick off the Close Up Magazine-sponsored "Close Up Made Us Do It" tour on December 3 in Sundsvall, Sweden alongside ENTOMBED and fellow countrymen RAISED FIST. The scheduled 15 city tour -- DISFEAR's second in support of their Relapse debut Misanthropic Generation -- will conclude on December 20 in Stockholm, where legendary Norwegian death punks TURBONEGRO will join the bill. The "Close Up Made Us Do It" Tour coincides with DISFEAR's first ever cover feature, set to run in the January, 2004 issue of Close Up (Close Up #63). In additional DISFEAR news, the band's Misanthropic Generation will see an LP release on Yannik of TRAGEDY's Feral Ward label. The Misanthropic Generation LP will feature as an exclusive bonus track, a cover of "Hycklarfolket" by cult Swedish cult crust band NO SECURITY. DISFEAR have also just released a 7" for the Misanthropic Generation track 'Powerload' via Spain's Throne Records. The 7" contains the exclusive b-sides "The Age of Conflict", and a cover of "Med En Halsning Fran Helvete" by classic Swedish crust band BOMBANFALL.
