| ______________________________________ [Dec 5,2003 10:18pm - the_reverend ""] my review: seekonk: they were pretty good. whick mellow is right. I guess they used to have a female singer. Pretty decent though. autumn rhythm: they had a female singer/guitar player. that was excellent. the drumming was fairly simple and the bass was very simple. But the guitar playing and singing was devine. She played and hit these harmonics with her voice. shark mountain: excellent. another guitar/drum combo. they sounded a lot like lightning bolt minus the samples plus a little surfy sound. the last song they played sounded a lot like lightning bolt. tunnel of love: ok, they had a blow up doll with a mic shoved up it's wazzu... they were wearing pippy long stockings and soccer shorts... and the most offensive thing... SHOLDER LENGTH HAIR WITH BANGS! They played a couple covers that I forget right now and they danced around getting in everyone's faces. It was extremely funny, especially when one of them singing started to hump the blow up doll, priceless. the chinese stars: they came out, flailed around and then I got locked out of the building. |
