South Carolina's THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD have unveiled cover art for the band's forthcoming effort, 'Malice.' The album, the band's second full-length and the follow-up to 2005's 'Bloodlust,' has been slated for an August 21 release through Prosthetic Records. Cover artwork, again designed by artist Paul Romano (The Red Chord, Mastodon), can be viewed here ( http://www.prostheticrecords.com/TTEOTDpreorder.html ), where the album is also available for pre-order in two exclusive CD / t-shirt packages.

Bringing Romano back on board again for artwork, the band also tapped producer Erik Rutan (Cannibal Corpse, Vital Remains, Goatwhore) to record 'Malice' at Mana Studios earlier this spring. This will mark the debut of vocalist Nate Johnson (ex-Premonitions of War, ex-Deadwater Drowning) with THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD. Johnson is currently making his live debut with the band on a current European tour with Dead To Fall, THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD and Ion Dissonance, before the band returns to America later this month to support The Red Chord in June and July. Also playing that tour are Despised Icon, All Shall Perish, See You Next Tuesday.

"We are extremely happy to have Nate on board with us as the new vocalist and frontman for TTEOTD," guitarist Justin Longshore previously said. "There's no doubt in my mind that Nate will deliver on 'Malice' as well as on tour. We'd like to thank everyone for their submissions that they sent us. There are some really killer vocalists out there and it was definitely a tough decision. Thanks to all of the fans for all of the support in this situation."
