..and every record sounds pretty much exactly the same. It's a good one though, so who can complain.

saw them saturday night at the american legion down the street. fucking astounding. one of those bands i'd heard of, but hadn't heard and now i'm much better for it. and what a fucking introduction! this was likely the last show at the american legion here, as undercover cops have literally been "staking out" / "infiltrating" shows there and lurking a certain CT hardcore myspace group where AmLeg denizens recounted the exploits that would take place in the "trashing lot" (you'd have to witness it to truly appreciate the scope of the debauchery). apparently, the parents of some underage kids had a big problem with their kids coming home piss drunk after attending shows there. fucking nancies. and then some diddling minister moved across the street and was rather vocal with his complaining about the noise and the amoral trashing. cunting vicar. so, after several visits by authorities subtle and not-so - the manic productions guys have been forced to impose a 10:30 curfew. this being the fabled "last hurrah", the champs were given the go-ahead to rock til the pigs came and shut it down - a solid plan all parties adhered to. apparently, there were no passing-through minorities to harass and/or intimidate saturday night, nor did the considerable white trash populace of Wallingford afford the cocksucking constabulary with any legitimate matters to attend to and so they were left with this petty matter and the show was brough to a halt at about 10:45. fuck their porcine faces in perpetuity. RIP, AmLeg. you will be missed.
