That means underware outside the tights, a cape and everything. He screamed into a ridiculous voice distortion thing that made him sound like a little girl most of the time. During his set, some guy in the front was freaking out the whole set and then flopped over the barricade during the set on to a huge block that is in front of the stage. then he rolled off of that on to the ground. No body saw him and he got up and slipped back over the barricade and then they noticed him. |

And weren't some of the heads white before? hence the name. I swear I don't remember the vocals before. They are light-years ahead of the noise band I saw years ago and have more of a lightening bolt sound to them. Repeative rock loops with the bass/drums and swirling synth noise over that. The oscilliscope case that the synth guy uses is cool. Very much a mod-job. skinny puppy is setting up now. I got told the rules to shooting, but they were confusing and my little mind couldn't visualize them. something about 3 songs after the 2nd when ogre comes out or 3 1/2 if he comes out after the 3rd or only til 1/2 way thru the 4th song if he comes out during the 3rd... ugh.. I really should have listened |

White Mice sounded the best I've ever seen them (which makes sense considering it's the first time I've seen them not in a basement or someone's living room) and it seems like a few people were getting into it. Skinny Puppy was great! Ugli from the new album was a huge surprise! I had to leave right after Hardset Head, but what a fun night. |

| _______________________________________ [Jun 10,2007 12:38am - the_reverend ""] skinny puppy: well, the song list left out killing time and hexonexon for one thing, but besides that, they didn't play any gay things that I didn't dig. That's hard sometimes because of the newer dance CDs/solo projects. Anyhow, I was able to shoot up front until a song after oghr came out from behind a big curtain. He was just behind it dancing up until then. He came out looking tetsuo the ironman mixed with a scuba diver (fresh in my mind from seeing open water), a scuba diver that was hit in the face by a more eel that is. He came out spittin and sputtering so much blood. before he retreated back behind the curtain, he sprayed blood all over the curtain and went back to dance in the lights the shown on to him. At some point he had a ent (treebeard) costume. My only little complaint is that oghr's vocals didn't sound right on a lot of the older tracks. Around that time, i think they were playing the process whixh is the last SP release I have cause it's when goettel died. I'm pretty sure they had more members on the last tour. This one was only 3 (like the original SP). It worked perfectly and they had a huge screen over them projecting movies. I can go on forever about songs I wanted to hear, but I'm not. Just think, if they didn't play a song you wanted to hear, check out the live DVD. |
