I'm all about the 7-stringer's nowadays so it's time for this to go...This thing plays MUCH nicer than the Jackson USA RR1 that I had. I only used the Bridge pickup in this guitar so the neck position EMG HZ isn't hooked up in relation to the EMG81. (i.e. you cannot have a passive and active pickup hooked up at the same time) It's still in great playing condition, there are some nicks and a slight chunk missing from the very tip of the headstock which of course does not effect anything other than aesthetics. The 300 line was discontinued all together and was replaced by the 400 line which is mahogany/maple and has active EMGs and upgraded hardware. the 200 series was replaced by the agathis-bodied 250 line. |
