as you know Integrity broke up so they didn't play, but Punishment cancelled that morning and colin of arabia must have cancelled at some point too. as you know this show got bumped around all over the place, finally landing in some rave club in olneyville. This with the jacked up $15 price kept a lot of the regulars out. yours in murder: they were a band from virginia. it was a little too muddy sounding for me to hear them. especially when the house PA cut out and all that was coming out was from the band's cabs. It reminded me a bit of btbam. I guess they've done some shows with STF. in dire need: jay's last show. there was another guitar player who was learning off of jay. I guess he's the replacement. the sound was muddy for them to and they were having an off night. they promise to make up for it at the middle east tonight. since the flood: the first band that the sound guy mixed right. they've been tour a bunch lately, sort of non-stop. this show was just off 2 shows to only a couple kids which were really far away. I hope their next shows go better cause this show rocked. they are getting better and better and sounding more tight each time I see them. hopefully at this point next year, they can get on a nation-wide tour with bands like terror or most precious blood. embrace today: the sound guy didn't get them right either. sucks since I don't get to see these guys too often. then singer gave a lot of his normal speeches about sxe.. but he started off saying something about the dicotomy between the sxe and non-sxe kids, but I have to disagree. last night was a perfect combination of the people that drink drinking, the people that don't drink being respected, and everyone having an amazing time. death before dishonor: not as many pile ups as the bombshelter show, but it was great. the sound guy did them right so it sounded great. jay from cease2exist was drunk and on one of the backup mics for most of their set. new years came and went during their set. with honor: such a fun set (and technically the first band I saw in 2004). they started off with to believe and everyone was singing along. they are heading off to tour too, dates all over the west coast and then touring back home with As I Lay Dying, Himsa, & Sworn Enemy. amazing that such great things are happening for them.
