sammy hagar sucks as a vocalist but he wrote some pretty good songs...
a lot of the music from OU812 and 5150 was written by him, and some of those riffs are pretty good

I'd have to disagree. I like VH, I've got every album. People hear the intro to "hot for teacher" and give Alex way way more credit than he deserves. He's a solid drummer, but nothing special at all.
