I was just excited cuz I'm no longer driving a piece of shit lumina.
I really hate to bear the bad news, but: You're new car is also a piece of shit. I've had a 2000 mitsubishi eclipse GT for the last 5 years. You're going to probably regret it. Parts are stupidly overpriced (paid $1200 for my clutch at 80,000 miles), the car eats tires like mad (gone through at LEAST 3 full sets in 5 years), and the rims are made of the softest aluminum crap ever, thus driving in Boston or wherever is going to murder those things. That in turn will cause balance issues, more useless wear on the tires, and more expensive repairs. The engine is pretty balls for a 6 cylinder, but as spaldino said the older all wheel drive versions screwed a little harder. However, even if it is a 16 year old girl car (which I admit, it is) it is still one of the most fun cars to drive. When it works. Also, it's NOT good on gas. When I was still playing with Pillory in Boston (I live near the cape) I was spending around $90 a week.
