But when the DJs are doing talk backs, they have no idea how it sounds over air and you get r-tards with background music WAY too loud and then people like when where the mic channel becomes wicked distorted. So I need to replace the 1 1/4" input, 4 channel 1/4" output headphone amp with something. I was hoping to kill 2 birds with one stone. |

Any stereo comp will do for cutting off peaks and volume adjustment. Behringer makes a cheap single space rack unit that I use on my own headphone amp. Mostly as a boost for recording vocals or loud shit, but it will do what you're looking to do. |
