Telekenesis is fun. I like to make piles of dead bodies in interesting places. Right now there's like ten corpses stacked next to the gene bank I use most often. Why not?

is it open ended or do you have to follow the path the game wants?

Sorta both. There's a set linear path, story and quest wise. However, you can roam the whole place and return to areas you already went through. Also, enemies respawn in older areas so if you need ammo, money, etc.. you can always backtrack.

Deus Ex is one of the best (PC) games ever made, first person cyberpunk RPG type game that's pretty open ended (at least in terms of play styles). If you check out the bargain rack at Target you can probably pick it up for $5.00 and there's a hi-def skin pack for download that'll make the graphics look fairly up to date.

did any one play the Deus Ex on the xbox you could like put bodies in dumpsters and light it on fire, throw them mad high in the air then try to keep them up with a sub machine gun

I second this time a million; the game is 7 years old and still ahead of its time. You can literally solve just about any problem in the game any number of different ways, and make a character during the course of the game that's good at a whole range of specialties. That, and it's got aspects of a stealth-sneaker (more like Thief than Metal Gear) and a tactical shooter (Rainbow Six-ish, just with one d00d).

I remember playing Deus Ex and giving up on it early on because it just looked stupid. Everybody says it's great though. Damn it, I should have given it more of a shot.

I highly recommend the second Dues Ex, Invisible War. you won't regret it.

I beat Bioshock last night. I got the "bad" ending.

The story was pretty interesting, and really deep. There were tons of little side-plots and backstories in those audio diaries. I hate Ayn Rand, but I didn't mind the atlas shrugged references and similar concepts.

I'm restarting from the beginning and trying to get the "good" ending. I'm also going to explore more and try to find everything.

I'm back now but it will be a few days before I catch up with everything and be able to get this game and play it.

I still have TONS of shit to take care of from being away on that little tour for a week. But all my plans fell apart tonight and I needed a mindnumbing distraction so I ran to bestbuy and picked up this game. I put about an hour into it so far. This game is by far the best looking game out right now. Gameplay is smooth as ice and is insanely original. Kudos to these bastards for having the vision and dedication to put this shit together. Can't wait to play more.

Still havn't had the time to finish this game. Havn't played it since last week. I'm in that fucking tree part collecting dumb bottles of water or something to make some fucking tree potion. Fuck this part. I just want to kill shit.

Played a little last night and finished that part finally. I was handling the hordes of splicers pretty good until the big daddy started trying to fuck with me. I must have zapped a splicer when he was in the water with the big daddy or something. He got a little pissed and killed me fairly quickly.

I'm stuck in the winery, and I know I gathered all seven water bottles for the Lazarus whozeewhatzit (i counted as I went along).

Stupid thing won't let me progress beyond to next stage. It's fun killing all these splicers and big daddies, but running through the level in circles is getting boring.

maybe I'll rent a different copy. It seems like a bug in the game.

just started playing this. Im only about 3 hours into it pretty awesome so far, refreshingly difficult and somewhat original. The combat kind of reminds me of the magic/melee of oblivion mixed with FPS. The only problem is I started so late on this that Ive already read about it enough that I know the whole ending and what not.

it's $4.99 for the ipad now...
http://appshopper.com/games/bioshock
but it's $4.99 on steam... $10.19 with the triple pack.. (1/2/infinite)... I think I need to get that. though I think I have all 3 games on the PS3.
