However, you can roam the whole place and return to areas you already went through. Also, enemies respawn in older areas so if you need ammo, money, etc.. you can always backtrack. |

I second this time a million; the game is 7 years old and still ahead of its time. You can literally solve just about any problem in the game any number of different ways, and make a character during the course of the game that's good at a whole range of specialties. That, and it's got aspects of a stealth-sneaker (more like Thief than Metal Gear) and a tactical shooter (Rainbow Six-ish, just with one d00d). |

There were tons of little side-plots and backstories in those audio diaries. I hate Ayn Rand, but I didn't mind the atlas shrugged references and similar concepts. I'm restarting from the beginning and trying to get the "good" ending. I'm also going to explore more and try to find everything. |

But all my plans fell apart tonight and I needed a mindnumbing distraction so I ran to bestbuy and picked up this game. I put about an hour into it so far. This game is by far the best looking game out right now. Gameplay is smooth as ice and is insanely original. Kudos to these bastards for having the vision and dedication to put this shit together. Can't wait to play more. |
