Theneveryone in the party stares at the guy and it's unveiled that this is in fact a party at the polish american league. That was sort of how one of the talkbacks went. Let's rewind the set a tad to the moment it started. The singer spray out beer, which covered part dreaded silence in beer. When scott turned and headed for the bar and dana told the dude to fuck himself, the singer of course took it as an afront towards the music they were playing and not to the beer. Now, stack that on top of akward pauses due to gear breaking and malfunctioning for the whole set and you have the makings of several record screeching to a hault incidents. Too bad cause they were going to do a katatonia song. Also, musical they sounded goods, surprisingly since the name sounds so screamo. |

Not even the cymbols were real. So there was absolutely nothing coming from the drums on stage. This was weird. Out in front, perfect, fine. From the side, no drums. Weird. Anyhow, there set brought many of the worcester regulars to the front. Which was good. Probably better for the alcohol sales. Especially we they started tha mosh. |

They also brought a sound guy. The drummer has one of the largest kick drums ever. They were awesome, dudes. Perfectly tight and precise black metal with some folk and clean guitars mixed it. It reminded me of opeth's still life, but with all blackened vocals. Sucks like like nocturnum, there were only unchanging red lights on them the whole time. Sucks for me, not that any of you noticed. They played a newer track containing a lot more folk guitar parts. Then even player an encore track. Definitely check these guys out on myspace. |

There is a sign on the front of the stage at Ralph's that says something about how you're not allowed to spit beer or throw beer bottles and that they will kick you out if you do either of those things. There is a reason why that sign is there. A friend of mine told me that it first appeared a couple of years ago after an incident involving some girl who went completely psychotic, spit beer all over a bunch of people, and smashed a bottle on the floor. |
