A long time ago when I was first getting into metal (by myself with no friends to talk to about it and therefore hear pronouncing anything), I always pronounced Carcass as Caracas in my head, like I assumed that was the name and never looked at the arrangement of the letters closely enough to question myself. |

Later I heard it pronounced "dee-uh-cide" and then noticed the way it was spelled. |
