when it first popped beside me, he was just getting out of the car. while it was on the side of the road, he was up on the grass.
by the time I got my camera out, the fire was gone, I got closer, snapped and then "pop" more and more fire!
Then an unmarked cop came and the guy used the cops cellphone (never asked me for one). This is like about 10 minutes after I stopped.
Then a lady comes running up with the smallest fire extinguisher I have ever seen.
The real cops were coming with a tow truck so I took off.

Luckily you're a photographer, I've always wanted to keep some kind of camera in my car for when weird shit happens on the road, but never did. One time on 495 I saw a child's fisher price sandbox type thing fall off a truck with cars swerving all over the place into eachother, a picture would've been great seeing all the cars pissed off at eachother with a plastic toy sitting in the middle of the road

I always pull out my camera when there is an accident. I got a few of them.
on my way to get food monday, I saw a girl come with in inches of getting shmered by a bus. she had that "life flashing before me" look on her face and I said "don't worry, I have a camera and would have taken pictures before getting help"
