Someone who is preferably decent/experienced and good with double bass / creativity. We don't have a space yet because we're waiting for a drummer; however I am eying a place in Taunton, MA for practice. However, this may not be the case because the other guitar player is on the north shore. This is going to be a serious band, no bullshit. Practice once a week on Friday nights. But, seriously, what we're hoping for is a mix between slow, drawn-out drone-y hypnotic stuff (think Drudkh, Burzum), blast-y straight ahead black metal (old Enslaved and Emperor), thrashy-tempoed riffy stuff (like Ensiferum, Wintersun), and straight up acoustic stuff (that one Ulver record, that one Drudkh record, and just traditional folk music). Of the songs we've got started and/or written (going on 5, now), they're all pretty much spread across those feels - although we'll probably work on more fast stuff once we've got a drummer in the mix. Seth, I don't know if you've got a screenname on here, but if so, you should sign in and post so I can PM you my number. |
