anyone ever had ligament surgery?[views:1333][posts:7]_________________________________ [Nov 15,2007 4:12pm - retard ""] i am a stupid drummer who punched a wall and tore a ligment near my wrist. now my arm bone sticks out. i can still play but it's not the same. the doctor said it wasn't worth it to have surgery if it's not bothering me much. it's not horribly painful but it does hurt and it is a huge pain in the ass. anyone ever been in a similar situation? |

_________________________________________ [Nov 16,2007 1:13pm - DreamingInExile ""] my wife had surgery on a torn ligament in her thumb back in June, she's still having issues with it, going to Occupational Therapy 2~3 times a week, and still doesn't have full mobility in her thumb. she can bend the joint closest to the tip, but the joint closest to the had has only about a 15° swing to it still. it was a softball injury incurred in May when she was covering home plate and the runner slid into her bending her thumb backwards. when she got home, her hand was swollen and purple, and only after telling her for WEEKS did she finally go see the doc about it. |
