It's not for everyone, nor is Thrash, or black metal, that's why they invented these new things called "genres" ...Yeah, it's this new thing where they describe how the music sounds, so that you will have a general idea as to wheather or not you will like said music. And I don't see where fun has anything to do with fast. As an experianced musician, which from time to time, I call myself, It may, in some cases be harder to play slower than fast, That to me just sounds ignorant, close minded and plain out retarded. (Heathen Crusade 2 anyone?) when you're playing 9 bazillion notes a second, no one's really going to notice a flat or a sharp note. Now, don't get me wrong, some fast bands are insanely talented. (Spawn of Possession anyone?) I love both fast and slow music, and they're both "fun" to play and listen to... that's just my 2 cents though by the way, "epic?" I challenge you to find a "kid" in the Shroud lineup... |
