There's someone in the woods!! I hear voices!!" Having heard them as well I replied quite dryly, "I know." So to make a long story REALLY short, the owner of the land that abutts my property makes her way over to my house. We had a conversation. She says to me, "I haven't been out here in years!" To which I replied..."Nobody has." She then proceeds to present me with a deed and tell me that she owns 40.5 acres that abutts my property and of her plans to either sell the land to some asshole from California or have it logged off for money." The logger was with her, by the way. She then asked me, like any dumbass from Mass would, if there were any "moose" out here. To which I replied..."Everywhere." So then she asks me if I have had the property surveyed recently. I stated that I had no reason to ever have it done, as in Maine....we leave the land alone. She then asks me if I'm a hunter; to which I replied, "absolutely." So, the whore wants to log the land off for money or sell it to some FUCKHEAD from California. One last thing......she was wearing a "Hillary Clinton 2008" button on her $800 Helly Hanson ski jacket and had a $100 hair-do. She told me that she had the land posted "years ago." I told her that people around here don't post their land, and if they do....people around here will rip the signs down because they're an eyesore. Fucking CUNT. |
