| ___________________________________ [Feb 18,2008 7:48pm - nicc nli ""] If you take a good overdrive or metal distortion pedal with the gain on 0 and run it in front of the 6505 with your normal settings/distortion it will give you a nice little distortion boost and you can get some wicked sounds out of it. believe it or not, if you take a metalzone with the gain all the way down and all the other knobs at 12 oclock it will make your amp rip. |

Put it in front of the amp, gain 0 level 10 tone to taste. This technique Is called "boosting" and is fairly common among high gain users. Like nicc said, you can do it with all sorts of dirt pedals(cannibal corpse uses modded metal zones) but certain overdrive yields best results. |
