The band's sound is inspired by the intensity of the Tampa death metal scene, as well as the dark atmosphere of bands like Swans and Christian Death, and the abrasive, off-kilter noise of bands like Helmet and Unsane. The new EP was produced by Mark Nikolich (Torche, Kylesa) at Atomic Audio Recording in Tampa, FL, and mastered by Scott Hull (Pig Destroyer, Nile) at Visceral Sound. Light Yourself On Fire is currently seeking a label for the new EP. The band's debut full-length was released on CD by Kiss Of Death Records and on cassette by Robotic Empire. Light Yourself On Fire will be touring throughout 2008. |
