I'm writing a senior research paper on the socio-cultural history and impact of Black Metal. I don't know of many people here that are specifically involved in the local BM scene, but if someone is and has sufficient knowledge of the subject, then I'm interested in interviewing you about your experiences and opinions of the genre and culture.

There is no such thing as a "black metal community" in America. There is no such thing as a black metal "scene" either. THere is never going to be such a thing.... ever.

beside the fact that writing a paper about the black metal community could have as much fact based analysis as one about forest trolls, it is totally a brilliant idea because if i didn't like metal (very slim chance this kids teacher does, especially black metal) i would make sure it was the write length, make sure MLA format and all that was good then just slap a B+ on it and call it a day.
