He started talking to some of my friends and me after the show. The guy kept trying to invite himself to whatever we were doing after the show, but since no one knew him, and he was being a testosterone-fueled neanderthal and throwing chairs outside of Ralph's, no one wanted to hang out with him. We tried to ditch him, but he took it upon himself to follow us in his car, all the way to IHOP... totally hammered AND still drinking a beer. Unfortunately, IHOP was closed. One of my friends immediately pulled out of the parking lot once he realized that this guy had followed us there, parked next to one of our friends, and was getting out of his car. He walked over to my friend's car with a beer in his hand to ask what was going on... like anyone had actually invited him. Within less than a minute, cops showed up and arrested the guy. The whole situation was hilarious. They laid him out spread eagle and put him in handcuffs... right on the trunk of my car, giving me the perfect view of his arrest from my rear view mirror. Since the guy had no clue what any of our names were, and none of us knew him, we were allowed to leave without any issues. I think it was the most hilarious post-Metal Thursday event ever! |
