I'll be mostly playing rockish shit on it so it much have good dynamics. A lot of bounce is a must. somewhere in the $200-300 range is idea but i'd be willing to spend a little more if it kicks that much ass. any suggestions. |

Also, die-cast hoops are more stiff and a little more lifeless. Triple flanged hoops give the drum more ring and make the drum more lively, IMO. You could also try wood hoops. They provide killer rimshots, even more body and fullness, and a better cross stick. |

Has no bounce so i end up beating the shit out of it to get the best tone/some kick back. Ive been using the drummer in archaeon snare for the last week and have had zero broken sticks. |
