Unfortunately our singer is stepping out to pursue his education and we are now in need of a replacement. We have shows, free practice space in Nashua NH, are hard working, dedicated, no drugs, and have mp3s (recorded with the prior line up) available at http://www.MongrelBand.com Please be 21+ No Drugs Have your own transportation Have or be able to quickly get your own gear. Be dependable. Male or female applicants are welcomed but please have a powerful voice No emo/screamo-core, No Maynard or Chino wanna be's (some people do that well but that's not what we're looking for). We're looking to continue making hard hitting, aggressive music (with hooks though, we want it to be catchy but in your face) that could have radio potential but without blending in with all the songs on the radio these days. An exciting, high energy live show is essential as well so please don't plan on leaning against your mic stand for a whole show. Influences for Mongrel include (but are not limitted to): Misfits, Black Flag, Guns N' Roses, Pearl Jam, Faith No More, System of a Down, Soundgarden, Amen, Minor Threat, The Doors, NIN, Kiss, Bad Brains, Zepplin, The Who (fuck fred durst for that godawful cover), Fugazi, old Aerosmith, Nirvana, Motley Crue, Anthrax, etc...
