Also, Van Dyke Parks who helped with lyrics and musical direction with the Beach Boys early on wrote an album and had Brian Wilson sing on it. Quite good. During a show in the gym at my high school a few years back, my friend started playing the progression on the piano to set the levels. I jumped on the mic and he happened to have a mic near him and we performed that sing impromptu. It was amazing. |
