| _________________________________ [Jun 9,2008 6:07pm - dertoxia ""] ya if you have the right card for your lappy and you installed it and the drivers are installed and working then all you have to do is make sure that it's defaulting to using the expansion card wireless adapter and not the built in onboard wireless. you should maybe go into device manager and disable the onboard wireless...there no reason for it to be enabled if you're using an expansion card and it's also a battery drain. but ya, if you have a mimo-N card then you're going to get way better signal strength and be able to pick up networks from farther away. |
